When working with advanced machinery, it is important to have the proper training. This ensures work is done efficiently, effectively and safely.
The UL Additive Manufacturing Competency Center (UL AMCC) on the University of Louisville's Belknap Campus is an advanced manufacturing training facility. The center is a public-private partnership between the university and safety and science company, UL LLC.
The UL AMCC offers hands-on training for metals manufacturing, plus curriculum that teaches:

- Parts production and inspection:

RAPID PROTOTYPING CENTER
The University of Louisville’s Rapid Prototyping Center has world-class capabilities for 3-D printing and additive manufacturing of metals and polymers. Aside from prototyping and applied projects for companies like Boeing and General Electric, the center also is a designated Haas Technical Education Center.
