Dr. Roman Yampolskiy, an associate professor in the University of Louisville Department of Computer Engineering and Computer Science, presents on the risks and promises of a robotic future in this talk through the Kentucky Science Center's STEMinar series.
Dr. Yampolskiy has a special interest in artificial intelligence, along with artificial intelligence safety, behavioral biometrics, cybersecurity, digital forensics, genetic algorithms, pattern recognition and games. He also has authored more than 100 publications, including journal articles and books, such as Artificial Superintelligence: a Futuristic Approach.
The Kentucky Science Center's STEMinar is a monthly Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) presentation geared toward teenagers, though everyone is welcome. Speakers are local professionals who are active in STEM research, such as those at the University of Louisville.
