The University of Louisville is well-known for both its academics and athletics, which makes us a powerful partner (and feel free to name drop). We have some 141,000 proud graduates, and even more fans.
On the sports side, the Louisville Cardinals are consistently one of the most nationally televised athletics programs in college sports. We're a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference, which comes with great prominence and visibility — so wear a lot of red, and throw up your "L."
Our athletics program has been ranked 22nd among public universities for revenue, weighing in at more than $100 million. But that should come at no surprise, looking at the packed stands at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium or the downtown KFC Yum! Center.
We have 23 varsity athletics programs, including several NCAA championship teams; ours is one of only eight programs in the country to three or more NCAA men’s basketball titles. But then, we're no stranger to titles or record-breaking. We're also the only university to ever win a Bowl Championship Series Bowl game, reach NCAA Final Four with both men’s and women’s basketball teams and reach the College World Series in the same academic year.
