Dr. Shamus McNamara
Associate professor and associate director of the Micro-Nano Technology Center
Dr. Shamus McNamara is an associate professor at the University of Louisville in the department of electrical and computer engineering, and he is also the associate director of the Micro-Nano Technology Center.
McNamara has a background in both technology and business. He spent two years as a post-doctoral student at the Wireless Integrated Micro Systems (WIMS) Center at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Based on his research there, he also co-founded a startup company called PicoCal, Inc.
McNamara received his undergraduate and master's degrees in electrical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
