Director of Educational Programs, UL AMCC
Ed Tackett is the director of educational programs at the UL Additive Manufacturing Competency Center (AMCC), which is located on the University of Louisville’s (UofL) Belknap Campus.
Tackett is a nationally recognized educator in the additive manufacturing field, and was previously the director of The RapidTech NSF National Center at the Henry Samueli School of Engineering at the University of California — Irvine. With more than 25 years in additive manufacturing training and education, Tackett is instrumental in leading the UL AMCC and the development and delivery of its curriculum.
Tackett studied automated equipment technology and robotics at San Diego City College and earned his bachelor's degree in computer science at Redding University.
